What is Pharmacy?
Pharmacy is the science and technique of preparing, dispensing, and reviewing drugs and providing additional clinical services. Pharmacist carry out research and study on newly drugs to ensure the safe, effective and affordable use of drugs. Once the drug is approved, companies from pharmaceutical industries will manufacture and mass produce the drug.
Joining pharmaceutical courses will take 4-years of study, learning the fundamentals of chemistry and drugs as well as tackling numerous clinical subjects.
What skills do you need to be a Pharmacist?
Good in Chemistry and Biology
In order to become Pharmacist, you will need to understand the basics of chemistry and biology as well as interested in human biology. The drugs developed are mostly used on humans, therefore, you will need to know the effects and risks that the drug may pose to the human body. Mathematics is also one of the essential elements for pharmacist, a lot of calculations will be involved in developing a new drug and run test.

Drugs and Medicine plays a major role in protecting our health from infection and sickness. It often require extensive clinical trials, study and research in order to ensure it safe to consume for the general public. If you are into drug development, this course is suitable for you.
An Analytical Mind
Analytical thinking is a vital element of visual thinking that gives one the skill to solve issues quickly and effectively. Pharmacist will need an analytical mind to measure and evaluate the result, generate hypotheses and achieve it in the end.
