UTAS for short, was founded in 1890, therefore, making it the fourth oldest university in Australia. It is a public research university located primarily in Tasmania. The university is a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning.

University of Tasmania Scholarships For International Students
UTAS offered a number of scholarships for international students:
Tasmanian International Scholarship (TIS)
TIS is only available to international full fee-paying students. If you perform and maintain satisfactory grades during your studies, 25% reduction will be given for the duration of the course.
International Family Alumni Bursary
If you have a parent or sibling that is currently studying at UTAS, 10% reduction will be given for the duration of the course.
Foundation Studies Program (FSP) to Degree Pathway Bursary
Once you have completed FSP, this scholarship will provide a 10% fee reduction on the registered tuition fees for your undergraduate degree.
