University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is a public research university established in 1988. Over the years UTS has continuously improved its level of academic excellence which has resulted in it being a highly reputed institution in Australia and globally. UTS is a vibrant and diverse campus offering a wide range of extra curricular activities. Students can join various Clubs and Societies to take their mind off assignments and tests and relieve some stress. Student Support Services at UTS
As international students relocate to another country, it is quite common for them to experience culture shock. Therefore, UTS offers “Health and Wellbeing” and “Mentoring and Networking” services to smoothen out the process of settling in. Academic support is also provided for students if they feel unsure about their courses or subjects. They can speak to Academic Advisers and Academic liaison officers to receive assistance in anything related to their study program. If students feel overwhelmed or lonely, they can make private appointments with the university counselors to help with personal or study-related difficulties.
