How to become a dentist in Australia?

To become a registered dentist in Australia, you must have at least Bachelors Degree of Dentistry that is accredited by The Australian Dental Council.

After completing your Bachelors program of 5 to 7 years, you are required by law to register at the Dental Board in Australia in order to be allowed to practice your profession as dentist. You will have to enroll a postgraduate study program that may take up 4 years of full time studies to complete. Hence, it will take up to 10 years to become a registered dentist in Australia from Bachelors Degree.

How to become a dentist in Malaysia?

To ensure the degree program that you decide to pursue is recognized by the country you would like to work in,you must ensure that your Bachelors Degree of Dentistry in Australia or any other countries is accredited and recognized by the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC) if you wish to work as a dentist in Malaysia after completing your Bachelors Degree program.
