The majority of the students who study A-Level have the intention to further their studies and go to university. A-Levels is widely recognised as the gold standard of pre-university studies, and they are approved by many of the world’s top universities. While it is often the “go-to” programme if the students want to pursue their studies overseas like the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States, Canada, and Singapore, there are also many students who decide to stay in Malaysia for their degree programme. Especially during the pandemic, many of the students have to rethink their plans of studying abroad.

On the other hand, due to the lack of Malaysian history and geography subjects in the syllabus, UEC holders are not being accepted for entry into a public university in Malaysia with their UEC qualifications. Therefore, students who have finished their UEC are more likely to continue their post-secondary education at private institutions in Malaysia or study abroad.

Malaysian citizen
Holding a Curtin Malaysia’s Letter-of-Offer as a new student to pursue an undergraduate programme
Do not hold any other scholarships or grants

UOW Malaysia KDU Excellence Award Scholarship

The most prestigious scholarship offered at UOW Malaysia KDU. It provides a full-tuition waiver and every year, only a few distinguished students are awarded this scholarship.

UEC Agg ≤ 8 (5 subjects)
This scholarship is based on ACTUAL examination results only. Forecast or trial results will not be accepted. Successful recipients are required to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.66 (or equivalent) throughout their duration of study in order to maintain their scholarship.

High Achievers Scholarship

High Achievers Scholarship is awarded to high-flying, well-rounded candidates with outstanding academic results.

For A-Level

For UEC

#8 UCSI University

Tan Sri Ahmad Razali Merit Scholarship Award

Full fee waiver, on-campus accommodation, monthly allowance, allowance for book and laptop for the duration of undergraduate study at UCSI.

The Tan Sri Ahmad Razali (TSAR) Merit Scholarship Award is offered to deserving Malaysian students who demonstrate excellent academic achievements and exemplary leadership attributes, participate actively in extracurricular activities, community involvement and have received outstanding recognition due to notable achievement. The TSAR Merit Scholarship Award is only open to Malaysian students who are enrolled in any degree programme at UCSI University.

UCSI University Trust Scholarship

Up to full or partial tuition fee waivers for the duration of undergraduate study at UCSI.

The UCSI University Trust Scholarship is offered to Malaysian students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievements and leadership attributes and participate actively in extracurricular activities and community involvements. The scholarship is open to Malaysian students who enrolled in any of the foundation programmes (leading to a degree) or any diploma or any degree programmes at UCSI University and UCSI College.
