Founded in 1986, HELP University (HELP) is a private university that is among the country’s leading institutions for tertiary education. Currently, HELP University is located on two campuses – HELP Subang 2 and HELP Damansara Heights. The Subang 2 campus is a 23-acre site that is dedicated to being energy efficient and environmentally friendly. This campus is where the courses for Business, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, and IT will be housed in. On the other hand, HELP Damansara Heights is a campus consisting of 3 main blocks placed strategically for students to access several nearby facilities, as it is only 10-15 minutes away from the heart of KL. The courses that are mainly housed in the Damansara Heights campus are Law, Communication, Accounting, Hospitality Management, and more. Most pre-university programmes are also offered in the Damansara Heights campus, while most degree programmes are only offered in the Subang 2 campus.

Currently, HELP University ranks as number 33 out of the top 45 universities in Malaysia. They were also ranked in the top 50 universities in Asia for international students as the preferred choices in Psychology, Business, and Law. Additionally, in 2020, HELP has also been ranked as No. 1 among 650 universities in Asia for Outbound Student Exchange programs.
