The QS World University Ranking is one measure of universities’ worldwide recognition, compiled every year by the examination unit of global education and employment organization, QS.
The company’s London-based head of research, Ben Sowter, says there are numerous approaches to measure worldwide university rankings however Australia’s tertiary education sector did exceptionally well overall measures.
QS reviewed more than 75,000 scholars and more than 40,000 employers, to survey university reputation across four areas: teaching, research, internalization, and employability results.
The Australian National University (ANU) leads Australia’s universities, climbing one spot into 20th place among nearly 1,000 global higher education institutions.
This year 9 Australian colleges made the main 200, same as last year. The University of Sydney was the main Australian foundation to descend the rundown.
