Types of Internet Attacks

- Malware Attack

- Spyware Attack
Spyware Attacks are malware which could secretly run on your device providing information, such as passwords or financial information, to the cybercriminal.
- Adware
Adwares collect data and provide appropriate advertisements to users directing them to websites that potentially downloads harmful malwares into your device.
- Phishing
Phishing is done typically to steal users’ information or breach data. Common Phishing Attacks could happen when users click on links sent through emails or text messages by seemingly legitimate sources.
- Man-in-the-middle Attacks
Man-in-the-middle Attacks are equated with the actions of eavesdropping, where cybercriminals discreetly spy on two parties communicating with each other, in order to gain confidential information.
- Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Attacks
In the simplest way, DDoS Attacks are capable of causing extremely high traffic to a system. Then, it floods and overloads the system, rendering it unusable.
